someone should mention in the comments section that it’s not a good place for the phone if you want to use google maps. I don’t think they’ve covered it yet.

My phone (Nexus 4) overheats and shuts off if I use nav on it for over 20 min unless I use a proper phone holder that sits in front of the a/c.
That’s not to say anybody needs a dedicated phone a/c, but it would be nice if the people designing car interiors would give a
little
thought to where we’re supposed to put our phones if we don’t want to spend thousands on a nav package.
